Danny Michael Combs

Kernersville - Danny Michael Combs, age 52, passed away November 4, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Danny was born April 26, 1960 in Guilford County to Frances Fowler Combs and the late R.C. Combs. Mr. Combs served in the United States Marine Corp. from 1978-1982 and retired after 30 yrs of service from the Greensboro Police Department. Surviving are; his loving wife Barbie Shayne Morphis Combs, a daughter, Olivia, a son , Ethan Combs all of the home, the brothers, David Combs and wife Jan, Ronnie Combs and wife Ann, and Lee Combs, and a sister, Jeanne Freeman and husband Donnie, Mother and father in law, Clyde and Bobbie Morphis, sister in law, Dee Jones, and sister and brother in law Jackie and Ronnie Taylor, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be conducted11:00 AM Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Main Street Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Edwards, and Rev. Wilson Harmon officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday evening at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
