Danny Bolen, Jr.

Colfax – Mr. Danny Clay Bolen, Jr., 46, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019. He was born January 30, 1973 in Guilford County to Danny Clay Bolen, Sr. and Cheryl Elizabeth Lowery Bolen. Danny was a caring, loving man, well known for his sense of humor. He never met a stranger and loved spending time with his family and loving girlfriend. In his spare time he loved working on cars and was an avid Duke Fan.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hazel and Ralph Lowery; paternal grandparents, Artis and Helen Bolen; and his Aunt Dianna Ellison.

He is survived by his mother, Cheryl Lowery Daniel and husband Tommy; his father, Danny Clay Bolen, Sr., and his loving girlfriend, Melissa Foster; one sister, Kimberly Bolen, and a half-sister, Angela Atkins; a niece Addie Taylor, a special aunt, Becky Taylor; several other aunts and uncles. Danny was extremely special to Dakota, Jamie, and Austin Crews which called him Papa Danny.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Rayburn Woodyard officiating.
