Daniel Robert Shaw, Sr.

KERNERSVILLE-Daniel Robert Shaw, Sr., 81 passed away Monday, July 06, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born May 25, 1934 in PA to the late Arnold and Margaret Vancleaf Shaw. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two children, Donna Shaw and Daniel Robert Shaw, Jr. Surviving are his wife, Alice Wescott Shaw; three sons, Donald (Debbie) Shaw, Dennis (Beth) Shaw, and Daryl (Lucinda) Shaw; two daughters, Della (Richard) Herrin, and Dawn (Tim) Blackburn; 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 7:00 pm Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Sedge Garden Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the Shaw family.
