Daniel Reece Marshall

Kernersville - Mr. Daniel Reece Marshall, 79, died January 14, 2011 at Beacon Place in Greensboro. Daniel was born December 23, 1931 in Guilford Co. to the late Glenn Reynolds and Mary Long Marshall. Daniel loved to fish, garden, and sing in the church choir, he taught Sunday School class for most of his adult life. In addition to his parents, Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Idol Marshall, and one brother Reavis ""Pete"" Marshall. Surviving are two brothers, Barney Marshall and his wife Mary, and Terry Marshall and his wife Linda, and one sister in law, Elsie Marshall. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, January 17, 2011 at Shady Grove Wesleyan Church by Pastor Sam White, Rev. Phil Kirkman, and Rev. Don Millstead. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
