Daniel Joseph Lawson

Daniel Joseph Lawson passed away unexpectedly on July 3rd, 2023 at the age of 39. He was born on June 24th, 1984.

Danny is survived by many family members that loved him deeply. His mom, Penny Perryman; Bonus dad, Brian Perryman; Son, Eli Lawson; Sisters, Hannah and Hope Perryman; Grandmother, Janie Martin; Aunts, Bonnie Younger, Becky Inman, Lana Grubbs (Uncle, Preston Grubbs), Melonie Martin, Pam Allen (Uncle, Bobby Allen), Pat Shreve (Uncle, Ronnie Shreve), Lisa Williams (Uncle, Doug Williams); Uncles, Dennis Lawson (Aunt, Laura Lawson), Jeff Lawson, Larry Honaker; and countless cousins that were blessed to know him during this life, especially his cousin, best friend, and roommate Jim Inman.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joel Lawson; Grandfather, Clarence Martin; Grandparents, Jack and Dannie Lawson, Arthur and Juanita Perryman; and cousin, Evan Honaker.

Anyone who was lucky enough to know Danny “Dan” knew that his heart was one of a kind. He protected those he loved without a second thought. His goofy spirit, laughter, and love were contagious. He loved to fish any chance that he had, and he always had the music blasting. Danny taught himself to play the electric guitar at a young age and found peace learning his favorite songs and creating his own tunes.  Whenever we hear a guitar, we will think of him.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Fellowship Hall at North Point Baptist Church on Saturday, July 8th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.
