Daniel Johnson

Mr. Daniel Carson Johnson, age 73, passed away September 27, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center.  He was born October 7, 1944 in Pageton, West Virginia to the late Elsworth Garland Johnson and Nannie Louise Dean Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a simple man who loved God, family, friends, and President Trump. In addition, he was an avid outdoorsman who had a passion for hunting, fishing and farming. Mr. Johnson also had a love for music and dancing. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers; John C. Johnson, Paul E. Johnson, and Charlie A. Johnson as well as one sister, Linda Burnett. Mr. Johnson is survived by three children, Rodney C. Johnson (Tammy), Mickey L. Johnson, and Tanya J. Livengood (Shane); Three grandchildren, Melissa Johnson, Shayna Livengood, and Kenzie Livengood; four sisters, Sylvia Wade, Brenda Clark, Eileen Tackett (Buddy), and Thelma Tuttle (Teddy); two brothers, Jimmy Johnson (Christy), and Jackie Johnson. Funeral services for Mr. Johnson will be held Monday October 1, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor Randall Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M. Monday.
