Daniel Aaron Gaylord

WINSTON-SALEM-Our beloved son and brother, Daniel Aaron ""Danny"" Gaylord of Winston-Salem, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 2, 2013. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on January 9, 1986 to John Carter and Heather Margaret Swartz Gaylord. Danny was employed by GoJet Airlines and served as a First Officer. Danny was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Florence and Francis Gaylord. He is survived by his parents; a brother, Kenny and soon to be sister-in-law, Marilyn Bledsoe; grandparents, Herbert and Margaret Swartz as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Danny was a graduate of Parkland High School. He earned a degree in Aviation at Hesston College in Hesston, Kansas. He was a gifted pilot and flight instructor and shared his love of flying with many students and friends. A celebration of Danny's life will be held at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, 1046 Miller St., Winston-Salem, NC at 4:00 PM on Thursday, February 7, 2013. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Hesston College Aviation Department, 325 South College Dr., Box 3000, Hesston, Kansas 67062.
