Dana Michelle Link

Mrs. Dana Michelle Link, 34, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, 25, 2017. She was born on March 14, 1983 in Richmond, VA to Eugene Dana Deales and Rita Anne Johnson. Dana was a sacrificially loving wife and mother. She was an active serving member of The Summit Church in Kernersville. She loved her children wholeheartedly and strived to be a good Christian mother and friend, always giving back with what the Lord had given her. Dana had a true servants heart, always looking for ways to provide for others, even at her own expense. She loved cooking for her family and was their designated professional organizer and scheduler. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Evelyn ""Bebe"" Deales. Surviving are her husband of 11 years, Joey Link; children, Nora Grace Link and Wyatt Joseph Link, both of the home; mother, Rita Johnson and husband, Thomas; two sisters, Lindsay Deales and Jessica Johnson; two brothers, Ben Deales and Clayton Johnson; one nephew, Hayden Johnson. Also surviving are her mother-in-law, Debbie Giles (Glenn); father-in-law, Nelson Link; brother-in-law, Stephen Link (Kelly); sister-in-law, Kristin McTighe (Shane); nieces, Kendall and Stella; and nephews, Landon and Cooper. A memorial service for Dana will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 2:00pm at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Jonathon Robbins officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Dana's name to The Summit Church - General Fund to support her Life Care Ministry.
