Dammier 'Doc' Creed Wilson

Mr. Dammier ""Doc"" Creed Wilson passed away October 19, 2011, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Doc was born on March 2, 1946 in Dryden, VA to Creed L. Wilson and Lizzie Middleton Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Glenda Wilson, Allie Turner, and Darlene McKinney; and his beloved first wife of 25 ½ years, Judy Ann Wilson. He is survived by his loving, second wife of 14 years, Linda W. Wilson; a daughter, Rebecca A. Wilson of Winston-Salem; two sons, Donald Wilson and wife Angela of Pilot Mountain, and Danny Wilson and wife Sherri of Kernersville, NC; two step-sons, Keith Johnson and wife Nancy of Lexington, NC, and Jeffery A. Johnson and wife Vickie of Archdale, NC; two brothers, Dean Wilson and wife Karen of Lexington, NC; Logan Wilson and wife Jaime of Newport, NC; and three sisters, Carol Crawford and husband Sam of Shallotte, NC, Trish Dimick and husband Rusty of Pennington Gap, VA, and Carlin Williams and husband Tom of Lexington, NC; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, October 22, 2011, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Richard Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home. The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff of Hospice for their loving care given to Mr. Wilson.
