Dallas Sidney Darnell

Mr. Dallas Sidney Darnell, 75, of Hampstead, NC died Monday, November 23, 2015. He was born April 1, 1940 in Victoria, VA, the son of the late, Harvey Joseph and Ruby Willard Darnell. Mr. Darnell was of the Baptist faith and was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was a self-employed builder. Survivors include his wife, Polly Darnell of the home; two sons, Wayne Darnell and wife, Melanie of Kill Devil Hills, NC and Stephen Darnell and wife, Sheri of Horse Shoe, NC; four grandchildren, Tiffany Loftis, Craig Darnell, Sydney Darnell and Summer Darnell; one brother, James Lloyd Darnell and wife, Barbara of Fayetteville, NC and one sister, Wilma Underwood of Merry Hill, NC. The funeral service will be conducted Friday at 12:00 noon at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
