Dallas Brown

Mr. Dallas Brown, 76, of Winston-Salem died Wednesday, January 8, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born May 27, 1938 in Rockford, NC, the son of the late Talmadge and Betty Edwards Brown. Mr. Brown was self employed for over 50 years and was owner of Konnoak Brake Service. He was a loving father and an avid fisherman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Jackie Brown, his second wife, Patricia Brown and his sister, Peggy Brown. Survivors include two sons, Gary Brown and wife, Donna of Lexington and Shannon Brown and wife, Kim of Winston-Salem; two granddaughters, Heather Brown of Lexington and Paige Brown of Winston-Salem; a special grandson, Cody Boone of Winston-Salem; two brothers, J. R. Brown and wife, Diane of Huntsville, AL and Darrell Brown of Winston-Salem; two nieces, Kathy and Anita; two step daughters, Michelle Wall of Yadkinville and Angie Walker of Winston-Salem; and one stepson, Mitch Walker of Winston-Salem. The funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 12:00 noon at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Dr. Harold Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in Stoney Knoll United Methodist Church Cemetery in Dobson. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
