Daisy Lawson

Mrs. Daisy Robinson Lawson, age 91, went to be with the Lord, November 11, 2021, at Northern Regional Hospital. She was born July 28, 1930, in Grayson, Va. to the late Johnnie Robinson and Amy Kirby Robinson. She was a faithful member of Christian Community Baptist Church. In addition, she was a longtime member of the VFW Auxiliary in Pilot Mountain. Daisy was also known for her gift of Baking Cakes. She was a Devoted wife, and loving mother to her children. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rufus Perry Lawson; three brothers, Dean Robinson, Don Robinson, Dan Robinson. She is survived in death by three sons, Dennis Lawson and wife Cathy, Douglas Lawson and wife Debra, and Jeff Lawson; three grandchildren, Amanda Wall and husband Mark, Perry Lawson and wife Laura, and Chelsea Lawson; one great-grandchild, Kaitlyn Wall and one step great-grandchild, Davin Phipps; sister, Doris Stein. A funeral service will be conducted 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Christian Community Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Rodgers, Rev. Kenneth Jessup, and Rev. Kevin Harris officiating. Interment will follow the service at Pilot Mountain City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening, November 15, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the church.
