Cynthia LaNell Daniels Bailey, 82, of Winston-Salem, was called home by her Heavenly Father, on Monday, March 21, 2022. She was born on August 23, 1939, in Wilmington, NC to the late Clinton and Hattie Daniels. Cynthia attended New Hanover Memorial High School. She was a longtime member of Old Town Baptist Church and loved her Old Town Family. She also attended Freewater Church where she enjoyed worshiping alongside her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Cynthia had a long career in the aviation industry, starting early on with Piedmont Airlines. Her career continued with USAir, Hooters Airline & AERO8. The relationships she formed through the airline industry remained some of her closest & dearest friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Josephine Millis and Nora Petterson; three brothers, Franklin Daniels, Ray Daniels and E. Joseph Daniels; and her beloved husband of 37 years, Richard Duane Bailey, who preceded her in death by 5 short months. One of Cynthia’s greatest passions was her family. She is survived by her children, Jeanine Kinnaman (Jeff), Rhonda Tuttle, a niece she raised as her own, Tami West, Beth Bailey and Duane Bailey; grandchildren, Brandon Crocker, Cyndi Tuttle Banks (Sam), Renee Kuttler, Tiffany Austin (Justin), Austin Tuttle (Ryan), Colby Tuttle (Shelby), Taylor Kinnaman (Brittany), Alex Jordan and Jadean Anthony; and 14 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 25, 2022, at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Rick Speas and Rev. Stan Tuttle officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:30 pm prior to the service on Friday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
