Mrs. Cynthia Wooten Winfrey, 89, of Lewisville, NC went to be with her Lord Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born August 9, 1925 in Forsyth County, the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Flora Stewart Wooten. Mrs. Winfrey was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Patrick County, VA and Winston-Salem, NC. She and her late husband owned Freewind Dairy Farm in Patrick County, VA for 17 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hampton Winfrey. Survivors include her children, John Winfrey and wife, Shelia of King, Larry Winfrey and wife, Joan of Winston-Salem, David Winfrey and wife, Susan of San Antonio, TX , Debra Quesenberry and husband, Stan of Patrick County, VA, and Mark Winfrey and wife, Leslie of Winston-Salem; nine grandchildren, Malia, Brian, Nicholas, Amber, and Aaron Winfrey, Larry, Jr., Patrick and Andrew Winfrey, and Zachary Winfrey all of Forsyth County, NC, and Daniel and Shannon Quesenberry of Patrick County, VA,; a number of great grandchildren; and one sister, Osie Jennings of Winston-Salem. The funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Burial will be private.
