Cynthia 'Cindy' Snipes Rendleman

Mrs. Cynthia ""Cindy"" Snipes Rendleman, 51, of Clemmons passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born May 14, 1959 in Catawba County to Charles Melton and Glenda Gayle Snipes. She was a member of Clemmons United Methodist Church, where she was an active member. Mrs. Rendleman was a Vice President in Operations Finance at Wells Fargo/Wachovia, where she worked for nearly thirty years. She graduated from Hickory High School in 1977 and from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1981 where she met her husband, Bill. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Alpha Psi- Accounting Honor Society. She also graduated from the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, WI in 1987. Mrs. Rendleman was a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant. She was preceded in death by her mother, Glenda Gayle Snipes. Surviving are her husband of the home, Bill Rendleman; three children, Grace Rendleman of Cary and Katherine and John Rendleman of Clemmons. She loved to read, and to participate in and support the childrens' activities and interests. Also surviving are her father and stepmother, Charles and Catherine Snipes of Hickory; one sister, Robin Hager (Michael) of Greensboro; her mother and father-in-law, Charles and Jean Rendleman of Columbia, SC; her brothers-in-law, Charles Rendleman, Jr. (Cheryl) of Princeton, NJ and Lt. Col. USAF (Ret.) James Rendleman (Kay) of Colorado Springs, CO and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Clemmons United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Thore and Rev. Marcus Portis officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. A family graveside service will be held on Wednesday at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
