Curtis "Vic" Victor Johnson

Mr. Curtis ""Vic"" Victor Johnson, 59, of Advance passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at his home. He was born July 31, 1957 in Davie County to Cecil and Clydeen Ratledge Johnson. Mr. Johnson was of the Baptist faith but enjoyed worshiping Jesus in all denominations. He was a loyal employee of Hanes Hosiery for 33 years. Most importantly, he was a loving family man. His parents preceded him in death. Surviving is his loving wife of 42 years, Cindy Johnson; a daughter, Heather Couch and husband Greg of High Point; a son, Brandon Johnson and wife Melissa of Clemmons; seven grandchildren, Mallie, Ella, Jacob, Alyssa, Kaylee, Owen and Ivy; a sister, Pam Davis and husband Bobby of Mocksville; two brothers, Cecil Ray Johnson Jr. and wife Kaye of Advance and Michael Johnson and wife Donna of Mocksville and his special baby dog, Teddy. A memorial service will be held 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Pastor Duncan Davis officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:45 until 6:45 prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center or to the American Cancer Society.
