Curtis Lee Fulp

Mr. Curtis Lee Fulp, 91, of Winston-Salem, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at his home. He was born February 23, 1924 in Forsyth County to Lettie Wrenn Fulp and Clingman Fulp. Mr. Fulp was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army and retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. He was a member of Faith Chapel on Motor Rd. in Winston-Salem. He was preceded in death by his parents; six siblings, Raymond Fulp, Luther Fulp, Sadie Beeson, Annie Mae Whicker, Beulam Fulp and Margaret Cates. Surviving are his wife of 70 years, Dorothy Tilley Fulp; one daughter, Sharon Yarbrough (Gary) of Mocksville; one son, Garland Keith Fulp of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren, Jason B. Yarbrough (J.J.) of Davidson County and J. Brooks Yarbrough of Florida and three great grandchildren, Alex, Ethan and Seth Yarbrough. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Wesley Tuttle and Pastor Eric Bradshaw officiating. Interment will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
