Crystal Tucker Moore

Mrs. Crystal Tucker Moore, 82, of Winston-Salem, was called home by her Saviour on Sunday, November 2, 2008. She was born December 5, 1925 in Martinsville, VA to the late William F. and Lennis Gatewood Tucker. Mrs. Moore was a faithful member of Rosemont Baptist Church. Serving the Lord was her greatest role in life. She was beloved by all who knew her. Mrs. Moore was a kind and loving person who always helped others first. She played a key role beside her husband in founding the Brake & Electric Shop, now Bepco, Inc. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Winters; three sisters and two brothers. Surviving are her husband of nearly 60 years, Norman Lee Moore of the home; one daughter, Ann Moore of Winston-Salem; three sons, Michael Moore (Peggy) of Belhaven, NC, Steve Winters (Yvonne) of Winston-Salem and James Gary Winters (Lura Ann) of High Point; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Heironimus (James) of New Bern, Brian Moore of Raleigh, James Garfield Winters (Lynn) of Kernersville, Joseph Lee Winters of High Point, Steven David Winters (Audrey Williams) of Advance, Sharon Walker of Dresden, TN and Jodi Tate (Henry Beeson) of Winston-Salem; eight great grandchildren, David Winters, Joshua Albert, Jessica Winters, Sarah Winters, Christina Winters, Sam Winters, Wil Walker and Lily Okoshi Winters; one great great granddaughter, Trinity Lynn Winters; two sisters, June Edwards and Marie Crawford and one brother, William Tucker. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Rosemont Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
