Cristan Orr

Mr. Cristan Matthew “Matt” Orr, 37, of Winston-Salem, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.  Matt was born in Rockingham County, NC on March 1, 1985.  Matt served in the United States Army National Guard, including one tour of duty in Iraq.  He spent five years with Wells Fargo, where he worked as a fiduciary specialist.  He enjoyed wrestling, playing the guitar, podcasting, and most importantly, being a dad and husband.  These were his most important roles and he cherished them.  Matt was preceded in death by his sister, Samantha Roxanne Orr; maternal grandparents, Sam and India Heffinger, and paternal grandfather, Charles Orr.  He is survived by his wife, Allison Fulk; son and stepdaughter, Colton Orr and Skylynn Hamlin; and his parents, Mike and Twinkle Orr of Germanton, NC.  Matt is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Helen Orr of Clearwater, FL; mother-n-law, Suzanne Henderson; sister-in-law, Jordan Bell and husband, Will; and niece, Collins Bell.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Matt to the GoFundMe that has been set up to support his family during this difficult time.
