Miss Courtney Megan Stillie, 25, of Winston-Salem died Tuesday, August 17. 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center after a 10 year battle with kidney failure. She was born September 25, 1984 in Forsyth County to Ray Dean and Donna Schrader Stillie. Miss Stillie was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. She loved people and helped with patients at Brenner Children's Hospital while she was a patient there. She loved life and was an avid UNC and Dallas Cowboys fan. She loved her family and butterflies. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Clifford and Mary Hall. Survivors include her parents Dean and Donna Stillie of Winston-Salem; one daughter that she absolutely adored, Kameryn Paige Davis of Davie County; one brother, Joshua Ray Stillie of Lexington; one sister, Ashley Marie Stillie of Winston-Salem; her paternal grandparents, ""Lum"" Stillie of Lewisville and Sylvia H. Stillie of Winston-Salem; two half sisters, Melissa Dawn DeHart of Davie County and Heather Rochell DeHart of Winston-Salem; her aunt and uncle, Derek Lee Stillie of Winston-Salem and Vicki Diane Stewart of Yadkinville; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Taylor Meeks of Kernersville. A graveside service will be conducted Friday, August 20, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Love's United Methodist Church Cemetery in Walkertown with Pastor Ronnie Comer officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway. The family would like to say a special thanks to everyone at Brenner Children's Hospital, Forsyth Medical Center and Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center for their loving care shown to Courtney through the years.
