Corinne Yetran Dupell

Mrs. Corinne Yetran Dupell, 85, of Winston-Salem, passed away Friday, December 23, 2011 at The Oaks at Forsyth. She was born May 26, 1926 in Newport County, Rhode Island to Myron G. and Laura Dow Yetran. Mrs. Dupell was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a good cook, loved needlework and reading. She was the valedictorian of her high school graduation class. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Charles Dupell. Surviving are two sons, Gary Dupell (Donna) of Kernersville and Keith Dupell of San Diego, CA; two granddaughters, Jennifer Rozzelle (Ritchie) and Lindsay Dupell; a brother, Robert Yetran (Jacqueline); and a sister, Lucille Lindstamer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 28 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Bill Coleman officiating. Entombment will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday one hour prior to the service. The family would like to express special thanks to the staff at The Oaks at Forsyth for the care they have shown Corinne.
