Corene Caudle Hayes

Mrs. Corene Elizabeth Caudle Hayes, 84, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born May 1, 1931 in Yadkin County to Flora Hinkle Caudle and David LeRoy Caudle. Mrs. Hayes retired from Salem Baptist Day School in 1993 and was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Hayes. Surviving are two sons, Tim Hayes of Winston-Salem and Steve Hayes (wife Jordan) of Charlotte; four grandchildren, who were the love of her life, Ella, Gabriel, Madelyn and Lillian. Also surviving are two sisters, Ann Sigmon (husband Don) of Yadkinville and Brenda Brannon (husband Terry) all of Yadkinville. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Longtown Cemetery in Yadkin County with Rev. Tim Wolfe and Rev. Don Sigmon officiating. There is no stated visitation.
