Cora Elizabeth Bennett

Mrs. Cora Elizabeth Russ Bennett, 86, passed away February 27, 2017 At Village Care in King, NC. She was born January 17, 1931 in Forsyth County to the late Arthur Russ and Cora Elizabeth Norman Russ. She is preceded in death by her Husband of 32 years, Kenneth Bennett; one daughter, six brothers, and 3 sisters. She is survived by four daughters, three sons; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. In addition to her family, a special mention of a long-time companion, Walt Johnson. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, March 3, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Peter Cain, Minister officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, beginning at 1:00 PM.
