Connie Renee Moffitt

Connie Renee Moffitt, 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on the afternoon of January 10th. Renee was born March 30, 1956, to her father, John Cline, and her mother, Mary Cline, in Forsyth County, NC. She married her husband Terry Ray Moffiit on April 21, 1972. Renee was a selfless mother to her three children, a devoted grandmother to her five grandkids and two great-grandkids, as well as a loving sister to her two brothers, Jay Cline and Barry Smith. She loved fiercely and was a protector for those whom she loved. Renee was a faithful servant of Hope Community Church for over 30 years as a Kingdom teacher, choir member, precious greeter and prayer warrior. Hope was her Home. To know Renee Moffitt was to know the presence and the Grace of God. As she entered the gates of Heaven, she did so in Peace and in Joy. She will forever be missed. Surviving is her loving husband of 52 years, Terry Moffitt; son, Lee Moffitt (Leigh); two daughters, Tory Moffitt and Mary Seagle (Jeremy); five grandchildren, Drew Moffitt (Kayla), Cole Moffitt, Breanna Mankaryos (Logan), Trey Seagle, and Katie Seagle; two great-grandchildren, Jackson and McKinley; also surviving are two brothers, Jay Cline (Marcia) and Barry Smith and a very special niece, Meredith Sandridge (Drew). A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Hope Community Church with Bishop Paul Francis Lanier officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
