Connie Marlene Graves Cherry

Connie Marlene Graves Cherry our dear wife, sister, and friend passed suddenly April 29,2023. Her parents were James F. Graves and Dorothy M.G. Tally who preceded her in death. She married Wayne F. Cherry. Connie graduated from Salem College and retired from RJ Reynolds where she had many close friends. She attended Enterprise Moravian Church and recently attended Watermark Church.

Connie was gifted, funny, hardworking, & loyal. She was our strength in so many ways, yet, tender hearted. Most of all she loved her family & friends dearly and was always there for them.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Wayne F. Cherry, sister Carol Graves and many “favorite cousins”, family, and many dear friends she also considered family, and doggies Cheech, Chong, & Chase  

Visitation will be held on Wed. May 3, 2023 1pm at Hayworth Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The Funeral ceremony will follow at 2pm at the Silas Creek Chapel with interment at Friedberg Moravian Church Graveyard .

Memorials may be made to The Forsyth Humane Society or Friedberg Moravian Church.
