Collins Monroe Brown, 2, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Collins was born in Forsyth County on January 27, 2019, to Wesley Dean Brown and Lauren Nichole Brown. Collins was a shining light to all who knew her. She was always happy and thriving and left a lasting impact on others. Collins was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Joe and Joyce Andrews and Jim and Nancy Edwards along with a paternal great-grandfather, Jake Brown. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Ellery Brown; paternal grandparents, Marshall and Cindy Brown; maternal grandmother, Amy Edwards; paternal great-grandparents, Gerald and Carole Talley; paternal great-grandmother, Jackie Brown; one aunt, Elizabeth Brown Sutika and husband, Brad; one uncle, Hunter Edwards; and her cousins, Tillman and Hinton Sutika. A service to celebrate Collins’ life will be held at Triple J Manor House on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at 1:00 pm. The family requests that attendees wear masks and observe all COVID protocols. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Families for HoPE, Inc., 1219 N. Wittfield St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family of Miss Brown.
