Collice Faye Brown Cranford

Collice Faye Brown Cranford, born January 23, 1921, passed away on August 14, 2012 at the age of 91. Collice was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, William Burton Cranford, as well as her parents, Solomon and Pearl Brown, her brother Henry Brown, her brother Raymond Brown, her sister Elizabeth Atwood, her son-in-law Robert (Bob) Adams, and her son-in-law David Greene. She is survived by her seven children, Barbara C. Adams, Janie C. Frye, W. Clifton Cranford and wife Alison, Eddie B. Cranford and wife Theresa, Michael D. Cranford, Susan C. Swansburg and husband Phil, and Cindy C. Skaggs and husband Terry; her six grandchildren, Gail McCann, Dean Adams and wife Cindy, Kimberly Cranford, Jeb Cranford and fiancée Krista Brown, Sarah C. James and husband Antwan, and Miranda Skaggs; her four great-grandchildren, Adam Davis, Hannah Davis, Emily McCann and Mitchell Adams. She also is survived by her identical twin sister, Cordie Bodenheimer, her brother Bill Brown, her sister Ima Misenheimer and her brother Randy Brown. Collice was a charter member of Immanuel New Eden Moravian Church. She enjoyed gardening flowers, creating crewel embroidery, working crossword puzzles and feeding anyone who came into her home. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, August 17, 2012 at Parklawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Cheryl G. Cottingham officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
