Coleton Lee Tarpley

Mr. Coleton Lee Tarpley, 35, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at his home. Coleton was born in Altoona, PA on November 14, 1979. Coleton was a loving father, son, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him. He was operations manager of the Field Division of Stanleyville Paving. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, drawing, reading, watching cartoons and had a great fondness for antiques. He is survived by his parents, Dave and Sherri Tarpley of King, two brothers; Charles Tarpley (Cindy) of Kernersville and Eric Tarpley (Jenny) of Pfafftown, three nephews; Chance, Chasin and Caleb and two nieces; Maddon and Bella. Coleton is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and extended family. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Woodland Baptist Church in Rural Hall with Rev. Tim Gammons, Dr. Peter Kunkle and Rev. Gerald Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Love's United Methodist Church Cemetery in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 on Monday, February 9, 2015 at Woodland Baptist Church.
