Clyde “Eugene” Lambeth, 65, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, surrounded by family. He was born in Forsyth County to the late John Lambeth and Minnie Church Lambeth on December 18, 1959. Eugene was a people-person. He frequently took trips to the grocery store, where he could strike up a conversation with anyone. Eugene had his happiest moments outdoors, where he would ride his motorcycle and four-wheelers, camp, and spend time with his best canine friend, Smokey. Eugene was also an incredibly hard worker and was prideful of the many hours of work he put in as a crane loader in a scrapyard. He will be missed immensely by those who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Eugene is preceded in death by his brothers, Rocky, Chester, John Jr, and Ronald, as well as his sisters, Jetty, Dorothy, and Jennifer.
He is survived by his wife of over 35 years, Shirley; a daughter, Heather (husband, Damien); a son, John; a grandson, Jourdan; a sister, Sherry; as well as four brothers, Kenneth, Jerry, Tony, and Frankie.
A visitation will be held from 1:00pm-3:00pm on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
