RENEGAR - STANLEYVILLE Mrs. Clorinda Ann Joyner Renegar passed away Thursday, February 09, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice & Palliative Care Center. She was born March 31, 1931 in Forsyth County to the late Ada Mae Collins Joyner and Robert Lee Joyner. Mrs. Renegar was of the Baptist faith and attended church faithfully as long as her health permitted. She was also a faithful member of the Christian Workers Sunday School Class at Freedom Baptist Church in Rural Hall. Mrs. Renegar loved music and playing the piano. She also enjoyed camping and fishing. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Renegar was preceded in death by her husband, Elsie Ray Renegar; four brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Young (Bill) of Clemmons; granddaughter, Heather Harbin and great-grandson, Aden Slater both of Clemmons; three sisters, Roberta Grantham (Ronald) of Stanleyille, Zerilda Amos of Walkertown and Arlene Lowe of Stanleyville; three brothers, William Harvey Joyner (Peggy) of Mocksville, Bobby Joyner (Carolyn) of Walkertown and Ovilla Joyner of Stanleyville; a special niece, Peggy Quate; and also numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Mr. Glenn Settle and the Rev. Jon White officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christian Workers Sunday School Class Missionary Fund, c/o Freedom Baptist Church, 1000 Highway 65 East, Rural Hall, NC 27045.
