Winston-Salem, NC: White: Mr. Clifford Henry White, 86 of Winston-Salem passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. White was born April 18, 1924 in Surry County to the late John Emory and Cindy Lou Cave White. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII, a member of Ardmore Moravian Church and was retired from Hanes Knitwear after 35 years of service. In addition to his parents, Mr. White was preceded in death by two wives; Marjie Todd White, Lucille Brewer White, and a sister; Alma Freeman. Surviving to cherish his memory is two sons; Dr. Bill White and wife, Juliette of Great Falls, VA., Bobby White and wife, Debbie of Winston-Salem; two step children; Faye Harris of Maryland, James Harris of Spartenburg, SC.; three grandchildren; Jason White, Amy White, Rev. Jon White; a step-granddaughter; Marjie Ross; five great-grandchildren; Issac, Jonathan, David, Luke White and Lainey Buckendorf; two sisters; Jean Childress of Thurmond, NC, Lou Caudle of Yadkinville and a brother; Robert White of Siloam, NC. The White Family will receive friends from7-9:00 pm Sunday, December 12 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The Funeral Service will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, December 13 at the Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel officiated by the Rev. Jon White and Rev. Jon Boling. Burial will follow in the Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons, NC. Memorials maybe made to Sunnyside Ministry of the Moravian Church, 319 Haled St., Winston-Salem, NC 27127 or to Ardmore Moravian Church, 2013 Academy St., Winston-Salem, NC 27103
