Clifford Gordon Hartsoe

Clifford Gordon Hartsoe, 60, of Rural Hall, NC died unexpectedly Tuesday, August 25, 2015. He was born February 12, 1955, in Winston-Salem, NC to the late James Gordon Hartsoe and Mahautta Annis Abee Hartsoe. He graduated from R.J. Reynolds High School and lived in the area his whole life.
He worked many places, but most recently at Nature Select Premium Turf Services for the last 19 years. He was the Senior Plant Health Care Specialist, and was often referred to as the ‘Tree and Shrub Guy'.
He had a passion for his work, and was constantly learning and taking care of his customers. He loved fishing, sprint car racing, car shows, birds, wildlife, motocross racing, and college girls' softball. He was also the office prankster, and kept his coworkers on their toes.
Surviving is his sister, Phyllis Hartsoe Brown and husband Jeff. An aunt, Joann Cockerham of Winston-Salem, an uncle, Lloyd Abee of Ormond Beach, FL, as well as many wonderful cousins and friends.
There will be a visitation from 9:45 - 10:45 am prior to the 11:00 am service on Friday, August 28, at Hayworth Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway with Rev. Chris Byrne officiating. Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park.
