Mr. Cleveland ""Conrad"" Flynt, age 89 of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Flynt was born in Forsyth County September 19, 1920 to the late Robert Ray and the late Beulah Mae Hill Flynt. He was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown. In addition to his parents Conrad was preceded in death by two brothers, George W. and Hoke H. Flynt. Surviving is his wife of 69 years, Frances Lorene Flynt of the home. One son: Barry W. (Kim) Flynt of Walkertown. One grandson; Matthew C. Flynt of Walkertown. Two sisters: Louise Cooper of Winston-Salem and Mae Burcham of Yadkinville. Six brothers: Robert R. Flynt, Jr. of Wilkesboro, Woodrow W. Flynt, Samuel E. Flynt and James H. Flynt all of Winston-Salem, Roy E. Flynt of Yadkinville and Joe C. Flynt of Clemmons. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning, June 19, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown by Dr. Bobby Roberson and Rev. Frank Shumate. Entombment will follow at Gardens of Memory Mausoleum in Walkertown. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall Friday evening June 18, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
