Claude Wilmoth

Mr. Claude Wesley Wilmoth, 95, passed away February 5, 2021.  He was born September 9, 1925 in Surry County to the late Eugene Delbert Wilmoth and Leathe Mae Hicks Wilmoth.  Claude proudly served in the United States Army during WWII.  After serving the military, he worked and retired from Hanes Dye and Finish with 46 years’ service.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Pattie Wilmoth; three brothers and one sister.  He is survived by one son, Larry Wilmoth (Deborah); grandchildren, Wesley Wilmoth (Kristin), Joshua Wilmoth; great-grandchildren, Selene and Wren Wilmoth; one sister, Annie Wall and one sister-in-law, Shirley Wilmoth.  Per the request of the family, there will be no services.
