Claude M Rathbone

Claude M. Rathbone, 95, was born in Haywood County, NC to William Rathbone and Maude Green. In nearly a century of life on this earth Claude lived a full life. He served in the military with the 5th Army Air Core and was stationed in Japan. He served as an M.A.R.S radio operator relaying messages to and from military personnel and their families. He is predeceased by his wife Marian Bryant Rathbone, two daughters, Linda R. Gordon and Karen R. Willard. 

Those left to treasure his memory are his son Robert M. Rathbone of Lewisville, NC, and daughter Claudette R. Tilley of Sioux Falls, SD., his 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. The grandchildren all have their special memories with Claude. Trips to the beach, mountains, and countless holidays at his home. The family will all cherish the time, love, and memories that Claude gave them.
