Claude Mcbride

Mr. Claude Matthews McBride, 77, of Winston-Salem, passed away Monday, April 8, 2019. He was born June 24, 1941 in Forsyth County, to the late Alfred Anderson and Lora York McBride. He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. McBride was the owner of McBride’s Painting, until his retirement. Preceding him in death were his parents and son, Timothy Allen McBride. Surviving are two sons, Claude Matthews McBride, Jr. and wife, Lori of Belews Creek and Kenneth Gray McBride and wife, Lydia; a daughter, Peggy McBride Metts of Walnut Cove; thirteen grandchildren; a sister, Peggy Recard and husband, Bobby; and a brother, Ronnie McBride of Rural Hall. A memorial service will be conducted in his honor at 7:00 pm on Friday, April 12, 2019, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, officiated by Brother Keith Wise.  The family will receive friends from 5:45 until 6:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
