Clarence Wilkins, Jr.

Mr. Clarence Ray Wilkins, Jr., 75, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at his home. He was born in Forsyth Co. on December 6, 1946, the son of the late Clarence Ray Wilkins, Sr. and Ellen Louise Amos Wilkins. Mr. Wilkins was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and served his country proudly as a medic in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a loving husband, father and friend, who will be missed by all who knew him. Mr. Wilkins is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Barbara Vawlter Wilkins; and two sons, Samuel Wilkins and Bryan Wilkins (Nikki) both of Walkertown. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Liberty Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Styers officiating. Entombment with military rites will follow in Gardens of Memory Mausoleum in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service at Liberty Baptist Church.
