Clarence "David" Talbert, age 66, passed away unexpectedly at his home in King, NC, on March 22, 2022, after recent hospitalization. David suffered from long term illness. He was faithfully cared for by his friend and partner, Dori East. David worked in highway construction until he became unable to work. He was preceded in death by his parents. Clarence Arkless Talbert and Lillian Woods Talbert. David is survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters: Cliff Talbert (Lettie) of Stokesdale, Carolyn Ziglar (Mike) of Rural Hall, Mabel Hayden(widowed) of Walkertown, Kenneth Talbert (Carolyn) of Danbury, and Ricky Talbert of Winston-Salem. He is also survived by 1 nephew: Adam Talbert, and 3 nieces: Pamela C. Johnson (Ron), Carol C Buchanan (Andy), Christie Talbert, and 1 great nephew, Seth G. Johnson. The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date to be announced for relatives of the Talbert & Woods families. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, your prayers would be appreciated.
