Clemmons - Mr. Clarence William Sheets, 91, of Clemmons, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born August 27, 1923 in Forsyth County to Charlie Lee and Luna Elizabeth Craft Sheets. Mr. Sheets was a member of Warners Chapel Church of Christ where he served as an Elder, teacher and song leader for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Moser Sheets; one son, Barry Sheets, and one sister, Willena Hutchens. Surviving are two sons, Kim Sheets of Lewisville, and Kevin Sheets (Laura) of Clemmons; one daughter, Debbie Southern (Gene) of Clemmons; seven grandchildren, Michael, Joanna, Chad, Christa, Melia, Chase, and Tiffany; eight great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Ellie, Brian, Bradley, Barret, Emily, Max, and Alex; one daughter-in-law, Patty Sheets; one sister, Betty Johnson; and four brothers, Herman Sheets, Bobby Sheets, Howard Sheets and Harold Sheets. A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Saturday, January 10, 2015, at Warners Chapel Church of Christ with Mr. Paul Kirkpatrick and Mr. Frank Shepard officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
