Clarence "David" Jaynes

Mr. Clarence “David” Jaynes, 65, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Universal Health Care in King, NC. He was born September 15, 1958, in Duvall County, FL to Clarence Lesile Jaynes and the late Francis McCormick Truluck. David graduated from Socastee High School. On October 17, 1986, he married Becky Hanna Jaynes. Together they had one son, Joshua David Jaynes. He was a member of Ebenezer Methodist Church. David retired as a truck driver after many years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter and traveling to the beach. Whenever you met David, he always had a smile on his face. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his sister, Becky. He is survived by his son, Joshua David Jaynes (Keyleigh) of Germanton, NC; one granddaughter, Lainey Brooke Jaynes; father, Clarence Lesile Jaynes of Mid-West City, Oklahoma; two brothers, Les Jaynes (Gaye) of Texas and Phil Jaynes of Las Vegas; two sisters, Lisa Williams (Leonard) of Georgetown, SC and Donna Franzman of Socastee, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all that knew him. A celebration of life service will be conducted 2pm Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor Justin Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to give a special thanks to Linda Davis and  the staff at Universal Health Care in King  for the care given to David.
