Clarence "Keith" Beeson

Clarence Keith Beeson, 76, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born April 14, 1948, in Guilford County, the son of Clarence “Meanie” and Carrie Sapp Beeson. He was a graduate of Forsyth Technical Community College with a degree in Horticulture, retired from the Winston-Salem Fire Department, and served his country in the U.S. Army in Korea. As a member of Pine Grove Methodist Church, he took care of the landscaping for many years. Keith ran a successful landscaping business (Clemmons Landscaping) and also was a member of the Kernersville VFW. Cape Lookout was his favorite place to fish and he enjoyed the ocean for over 30 years. Keith kept a van at the beach and took many friends and family fishing in the fall. Keith was an avid line dancer, gardener, and was known for his homemade cheesecakes. He loved to help others without recognition and never met a stranger.

 In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his sister, Sibbie Prescott and his brothers; Donnie and Frankie Beeson. Survivors include his two sisters, Patsy Pegg (Bill) and Carolyn Roddy, all of Kernersville; five brothers, Richard Beeson (Sue) of Kernersville, Monty Beeson (Regina) of Kernersville, Jimmy Beeson (Sue) of Summerfield, Randy Beeson (Linda) of Duncan, OK., and Chris Beeson (Tami) of Lincolnton; a sister-in-law Sandra Beeson of Kernersville; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

 A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Pine Grove Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Prichard, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 PM to 8 PM on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. The family will be at Keith’s sister’s, Carolyn home. The family would also like to extend their sincere gratitude to his sister Carolyn for providing care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pine Grove Methodist Church Christmas Fund, 1018 Piney Grove Rd., Kernersville, NC 27284.
