WEAVER - WINSTON-SALEM Mrs. Clara Mae King Weaver, 91, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Forsyth County on September 6, 1921 to the late Nobel Lee King and Anna Mabe King. Mrs. Weaver retired from Hanes Knitting Mill with nearly 50 years of service. She was a member of Hickory Ridge United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her husband, John Frank Weaver; three brothers: William B. King Sr., Francis King and Woodrow King; and also, a nephew, Billy King. Surviving are three nieces: Carolyn Perryman, Linda Wilkerson and Debra Sands; one nephew, Joseph King; two great nieces; seven great-nephews; and also, numerous great-great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Hickory Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery.
