Clara Lopez Salazar

Winston Salem- Ms. Clara Ines Lopez Salazar, 76, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021. She was born August 12, 1945 in Guatemala City, Guatemala to the late Ernesto Lopez and Graciela Salazar. Clara was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, and spending time with her family. Clara was a lifelong devoted Christian, who dedicated her life to help those in need.

Her bravery and love for her children brought her to America to start a whole new life for her children and generations to come.

No matter where you came from or what you look like she was always ready with open arms, food, prayers, and laughter. Her wisdom will last forever and throughout many generations.

She is survived by her four daughters Mara Flores, Thelma Lara, Nancy Cruz, and Claudia Lee; Ten grandchildren, Linda Flores, Ashely Flores, Moses Flores, Jemberly Guzman, Damariz Agosto, Jacqueline Guzman, Pamela Rojas, Nancy Rojas, Dangell Bobadilla and Claudia Jennette; Eight great-grandkids Donovon Guzman, Naeshawn Guzman, Julissa Guzman, Zuamriz Leon-Guzman, Adalyn Agosto, Annaleia Agosto, Andre Garay and Gabriella Reuben.

A Graveside Service will be held  3:00 P M Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Mt. Gur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 2:30 PM prior to the service at the Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
