Christy Ann Harris

Christy Ann Harris, 36, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Grace Healthcare in Winston-Salem. She was born in Forsyth County on September 11, 1975 the daughter of Barbara Ann Harris and Leslie Fletcher Harris. Christy touched many hearts and was loved deeply. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Christy was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Clara Harris. Surviving are her parents, Barbara and Fletcher Harris; two sisters, Tonya Bodenheimer (Paul) and Sabrina Smith (Doug); niece and nephews, Lauren Bodenheimer, Ben Bodenheimer and Michael Smith; maternal grandparents, Rachel and Henry Smith; paternal grandfather, Leslie Harris; and many other extended family members. A Memorial Service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor Bruce Harris officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
