Christopher Simmons

Kernersville- Mr. Christopher Alan Simmons, 40, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022, at his residence. He was born on October 26, 1981, in Forsyth County, the son of Barry and Cynthia Simmons. He loved his job as a Bottle and Cap Production Planner at Herbalife, where he was employed for 7 years. He previously worked at Dell Computers in Winston-Salem. His passion was creating his own electronic music. Many of his friends knew him as DJ Kortechx. He also spent time as a gaming enthusiast. A one-of-a-kind person, Christopher had a zest for life and a beautiful soul which emulated to all around him. He was very loved to all that knew him. He is survived by his parents, Barry and Cynthia Simmons; a brother Adam Simmons (Nikki); a sister, Candace Simmons; a niece, Madison Simmons; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his most loved dog, Ranger. The family will receive friends as a celebration of life from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, Kernersville Chapel. There will be no formal funeral services. In honor of his father who is a blood cancer survivor, memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 3 International Drive, Suite 200, Rye Brook, NY 10573. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
