Christopher Muse

Christopher Michael Muse, 39, of Winston Salem left us peacefully on January 7 2019.  Chris, as we called him, was loved by many. He was an amazing chef and loved to cook for his family and friends. Chris had a infectious grin and some awesome one liners. He made us laugh, he made us smile, and he made us some really good food. He was the owner and chef at Muse's Chophouse.  Chris was an accomplished martial artist and taught many children and adults over the years. He earned a 5th degree black belt in Karate and traveled all over the country performing and brought home a number of trophies and awards.  Chris is survived by his father Mike Muse, (Dianne), his mother, Cathy Eaves (John), his grandmothers Betty Jean Muse and Imogene Taylor, sisters Tammy Muse Lugin (Jake) , Michelle Butcher, and an amazing family of loving aunts, uncles, cousins that were like siblings, nieces, and one beloved and very spoiled dog- Sienna.  Chris was sweet and funny. We will honor him this same way with a celebration of his LIFE. Please bring your fondest memories of Chris and join us for a visitation with his family 11:00 AM Saturday, January 12 followed by a service will be held at Hayworth Miller in Rural Hall at 12:00 noon.  Chris fought very hard against cancer and would absolutely love, in lieu of flowers, for a donation to be made to The American Cancer Society.
