Christopher Edgar Meadows

Christopher E. Meadows, 64, of Clemmons, passed away at his residence June 5, 2014. Chris was born in Forsyth County to Henry A. and Pamela W. Meadows on November 22, 1949. He was a graduate of North Forsyth High School and High Point University. He served four years in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged. He was employed by Wachovia Bank for 32 years until his retirement in 2006. Chris was a well-loved son, brother, father, companion and friend.

He is predeceased by his father in 1996. He is survived by his mother, Pamela Meadows of Bermuda Run; son, Andy Meadows of Winston-Salem; brother, John (Sharon) Meadows of Pfafftown; sisters, Ann Fitzgibbon of Norfolk, VA and Terri Meadows of Bermuda Run; and long-time companion and best friend, Linda Taylor of Clemmons. He is also survived by his nieces, Candance (Jeff) Huskey of Charlotte, Amanda Meadows of Richmond, VA and Chelsea Meadows of Boone, NC; and one great-nephew, Hudson.

A graveside service with military honors will be conducted at Westlawn Gardens of Memory on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 11 am. The family will greet friends at the cemetery following the service.
