Christopher Donald Lewis

Christopher Donald Lewis, 54, born February 22, 1956, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 13, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born in Forsyth County to James Raleigh Lewis and the late Viola Bennett Lewis. Chris was employed by Oracle Packaging (formerly R.J. Reynolds Packaging). He liked many different sports including fishing and playing golf. He loved riding his motorcycle with his special loving friend and companion, Jennifer Cronin. Chris will be truly missed by all who loved him. He is preceded in death by his mother, and his brother, James Raleigh Lewis Jr. Chris is survived by his sister, Barbara L. Milhous and husband, Art; his nephew, Ryan E. Milhous; his niece, Lisa M. Parker and husband, Jim; his great-nieces, Hailey and Jenna Parker. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM Friday, September 17, 2010, at Bethel United Methodist Church off Burke Mill Road with the Rev. David Smith officiating. A private graveside service for the Lewis Family will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family would like to thank all of Chris and Jennifer's friends for their support and prayers.
