Christopher "Chris" Michael Jones

Mr. Christopher Michael ""Chris"" Jones, 37, of Winston-Salem died unexpectedly May 2, 2014. He was born June 7, 1976 in Forsyth County to Butch and Sherry Jarvis Jones. Chris attended Agape Faith Church and was a 1994 graduate of Mt. Tabor High School. He was also a graduate of Forsyth Technical Institute and was a ten year employee of Time Warner Cable. He was a very dedicated father, brother, and son to his children, his three sisters and his family. He loved his work at Time Warner Cable. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Madelyn Marie Jones, his grandmother, Lila Carter, and his two grandfathers, Jack Clinard and Pete Jarvis. Survivors include his father, Andrew (Butch) Jones, his mother, Sherry Jarvis Wiles and stepfather, Randy D. Wiles; his stepmother, Gretchen Pixley-Jones, his fiancé, Brooke Green and her children, Chasity and Bradley Bean; his grandmother, Ruby Jarvis Clinard; his sisters, Sherry Jones Ketchie (Jason), Nancy Griffin Jones and Martha Parke Jones; his uncles, Jerry Jarvis (Suzanne) and Neil Jarvis (Betty); his niece, Marley Rain Ketchie; his nephews, Dylan Emory Ketchie and Ryder Jack Ketchie; and his cousins, Brandy Wurst (Doug) and Christy Williams. A Celebration of Chris' life will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor J. B. Whitfield officiating.
