WINSTON SALEM - Christine Fulton Hall, 81, died Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. Christine was born on September 24, 1933 in Guilford County to James T. and Earlie Vaughan Fulton. Christine attended Gospel Light Baptist Church where she was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class. She retired with 43 years of service from Hanes Hosiery. She enjoyed working in the yard and was an avid flower gardener. Christine also enjoyed many kinds of crafts.
In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Hall; a brother, Woodrow Fulton; and five sisters, Vassie Sharron, Lurecer Anderson, Beadie Stone, Hilda McGee and Pauline Jessup.
Surviving are two daughters, Susan Royal (husband, Mike) and Peggy Southard (husband, Tommy); one son, Stephen Hall (wife, Tracy); one sister, Austin Fulp; four grandchildren, Marty Southard, Brandon, Chandler and Bryson Hall; three great grandchildren, Maris, Kemp and Livi.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Gospel Light Baptist Church with Dr. Bobby Roberson officiating. Entombment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 21, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
